Shooting Incident, April 25, 2019

At approximately 9:05 pm Monday evening 4/15/19, the Ludlow Police Department Central Dispatch received several emergency calls reporting the sound of multiple gunshots being heard in the area of Hubbard and Sewall Sts.  Ludlow Police Officers responded and immediately discovered six 9mm shell casings directly in front of #100 Hubbard St. which is a four family tenement building.  The officers also smelled the odor of gun powder upon arriving.  An immediate search of the area was conducted for the perpetrator(s) and neighboring police departments were also notified via the Western Mass Law Enforcement radio channel.  To date, no one has been arrested for this crime.

That area of Hubbard St. was closed for over three hours as officers and detectives investigated the shooting incident.  During their investigation, three bullet holes were discovered in a motor vehicle parked in front of the building and one bullet hole was located on the first floor of the building.  No one was injured during this shooting incident and it remains under investigation.

Anyone with information on this crime should contact the Ludlow Police Department at (413)-583-8305 or send an anonymous text to CRIMES (274637), then type the word SOLVE, and then send the information.
