LUDLOW — Chief Daniel Valadas is pleased to announce that the Ludlow Police Department is hosting a food drive to benefit the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts and the Ludlow Veteran’s Food Pantry this weekend.

Ludlow Police Station, 612 Chapin St.
WHAT
Ludlow Police are hosting a food drive to collect non-perishable food items for those in need. Non-perishable items that can be donated to the food bank include, but are not limited to, canned fruits and vegetables, dry cereal, canned beans, soups, pasta, peanut butter and more.
All canned and non-perishable foods that are collected will be donated to the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts, and half of the collections will be donated to the Ludlow Veteran’s Food Pantry.
Residents and community members are encouraged to donate what they can this holiday season.

Additionally, the Ludlow Veteran’s Food Pantry collects non-perishable donations every Friday at Town Hall, 488 Chapin St., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
