Felony Larceny Arrests
On Monday evening (6/17) at approximately 7:33 pm, Ludlow Central Dispatch received a call of a reported “robbery” at the Domino’s Pizza located at #309 Center St. (Rte. 21) Ludlow, MA. Upon arriving, responding Ludlow Police Officers made contact with the reporting employee at the restaurant and immediately set up a perimeter in an effort to locate and apprehend a fleeing suspect. A BOLO was aired to all on-duty police officers and to nearby police departments with a description of the suspect and a police K9 search was conducted of the immediate area. The suspect was believed to have fled on foot southbound towards Arch St. and he was described as being male, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt that was pulled tightly around his face and head.
Further investigation by two Ludlow Police Detectives led to a confession by the alleged victim and reported caller, Brian A. Goodreau (age 25 of Wilbraham, MA.). Subject Goodreau confessed to being involved in the larceny from his employer, Domino’s Pizza, and to have assisted in the planning and execution of a larceny with co-conspirators. Subject Goodreau identified subject Paul A. Cunningham (age 50 of Springfield, MA.) as being an active participant in a joint venture larceny of the Domino’s Pizza. From the confession and other evidence, probable cause was established to arrest both suspects Goodreau and Cunningham.
Subsequently, subject Goodreau was placed into custody at the Ludlow Police Station and he led the investigating police officers to subject Cunningham’s suspected location. At approximately 11:56 pm on Tuesday evening, subject Cunningham was arrested in Springfield by a coordinated effort between Ludlow and Springfield Police Officers. Subject Cunningham was placed into custody and he was booked first at the Springfield Police Department and then later at the Ludlow Police Department. Subject Goodreau was booked at the Ludlow PD.
