Shooting Incident

At approximately 12:07 am early this Monday morning, the Ludlow Police Department Central Dispatch received several emergency 911 calls reporting the sound of multiple gunshots being heard on Old West St. and that there is a gunshot victim.   Ludlow Police Officers responded, secured the scene, and immediately located and began rendering first aid to the shooting victim.

Massachusetts State Police Troopers also responded and assisted with police coverage during this incident.

Subsequently, the victim was treated on scene by Ludlow Fire Department Paramedics and then transported to the Baystate Medical Center.  The condition of the victim is not known.

This crime remains under investigation by the Ludlow Police Department Detective Bureau and the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Hampden County District Attorney’s Office.
